根据中国工程建设标准化协会《关于印发〈2014年第一批工程建设协会标准制订、修订计划〉的通知》（建标协字〔2014〕028号）的要求，由中国水利水电科学研究院等单位编制的《村镇供水工程自动化监控技术规程》，经本协会城市给水排水专业委员会组织审查，现批准发布，编号为T/CECS 493-2017，自2018年4月1日起施行。
