根据中国工程建设标准化协会《关于印发〈2011年第二批工程建设协会标准制订、修订计划〉的通知》（建标协字〔2011〕111号）的要求，由中国钢结构协会空间结构分会和北京工业大学等单位全面修订的《膜结构技术规程》，经本协会轻型钢结构委员会组织审查，现批准发布，编号为CECS 158：2015，自2016年1月1日起施行。原《膜结构技术规程》CECS 158：2004同时废止。
